About Me
I graduated from the University of Lincoln in September 2019 with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) English and Journalism. I'm passionate about writing and, whilst at university, wrote for publications including Student Hut and Kettle Mag.

Prior to graduating, I completed a work experience placement at PR, Marketing and Digital agency, Shooting Star, where I wrote a number of press releases, features and blog posts.
Upon graduating, I then joined PR agency, Carrington Communications, as a Junior PR Account Executive, where I secured both regional and national coverage for clients.
Work Experience
Junior PR Account Executive- Carrington Communications
October 2019 - July 2020
During my time in this role, I assisted account managers in the day-to-day running of PR accounts which included; writing content such as press releases, features, blog posts and social media posts, creating web page content, attending client meetings, optimising content for SEO, collecting coverage to present to clients, pitching to local and national journalists, researching new ways to promote clients, and editing web pages.
Work experience placement- Shooting Star
June 2019
After finishing my university course, I completed a work experience placement at PR, Marketing and Digital agency, Shooting Star. During my placement, I wrote press releases, features and blog posts for a variety of different businesses, learnt how to edit web pages and also attended meetings with clients. As a result of this, I experienced working in a fast paced environment first-hand and learnt how to apply my communication and writing skills in a professional setting.
Content Writer- Student Hut
April 2019 - August 2019
After finishing my university course, I spent 5 months working for Student Hut where I wrote monthly articles which were published on their website. In this role I wrote on a broad range of topics which demonstrates my ability to adopt different writing styles and research subjects thoroughly before writing about them.
Writer- Kettle Mag
December 2018 - Feb 2019
During my time at university, I wrote for an online student magazine called Kettle Mag. By doing this I was able to use my creativity to think of new and interesting subjects to write about, as well as using my skills to target my writing at a specific audience.
